    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Seriously? You would really drive around on bald or near bald tires to save a few bucks and turn the car in that way at the end of the lease? My family and my safety is far more important to me and I would expect most people. I plan on replacing my tires during my 3 year lease at some point...

RonDawg is right. It a ripoff to pay $587 for the maintenance. Also, my dealer told me that both the brake flush and cabin filter replacement are optional. In other words, you won't get docked turning the car in at 36k miles if that work isn't done. The cabin filter replacement is recommended if...

I don't agree. The Stanford employee deal does not include the expensive QC/Led option, title and license fees, and is based on 12k miles a year instead of 15k. The Stanford deal is a standard VPP deal ($1000 under dealer invoice) except with a $200 higher destination charge than normal...

With the $850 destination charge in the fine print, this deal is not nearly as good as normal VPP pricing on the S, SV and SL respectively. It is also only available to employees. Once again I can state as I have in the past that I have not seen an advertised deal that beats VPP pricing ($1000...

The numbers you are getting is voodoo math. You need to focus on the total cost of the car and the lease. That $133 a month is not a real number, but one designed to get you in the door. It doesn't include tax, acquisition fee, title, license, doc, the steering wheel, etc. Why do you think...

That's the best deal of all. Some permits required, but that's relatively cheap. My info for the rest of the folks on the Forum who don't have access to "freebie" deals.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Nissan recommended Siemens unit for $850 plus tax on Amazon, have it installed for about $250 by an electrician, and get 30% of the product AND installation cost returned to you via Federal Tax Form 8911, which Congress has so far renewed on a year to year...

I'm not sure that the $199 deal is very good. Usually, national deals aren't as good as we can get normally in CA. And, of course, it's never really $199: 2013 LEAF S Price excludes tax, title, license, options and destination charge. Dealer sets actual price. See dealer for details.

Really? So why not tell us who the "dealer" is who supposedly told you this? Your last question makes this information suspect, since there has never been a State tax credit for a two year lease.
