Poll : What is your reason for going Electric ?

:twisted: I'm really tired of everybody's hands in my pocket. Cars cost way too much. Fueling vehicles cost way too much. I'm sick of it. With the Leaf SL with all the options, I got almost everything I like in a car for $300 per month with no money down. My electric bill is only slightly higher. I don't miss gassing up at all. I go into Costco and navigate around the ICE vehicles jockeying for position to get in line to give away their money to OPEC. Battery electric vehicles just make sense. Improvement is needed, but we'll get there. I am proud to be an early adopter and fellow Leaf driver.

I selected economic, but environmental (at least for tailpipe emissios), security and geek were all very close seconds.

I also selected Economic - I got sick and tired of paying $50-60 at the pump. I use my Leaf for local driving which is the worst for ICE mileage, so it is paying off for me.
