I have been shopping around the SF Bay Area and finally bought this past week. Got the 2015 S with QC for $170 INCLUDING tax ($155 before). I negotiated a combined deal with another person who got the same car. Thanks everyone for the help as it helped me to see what prices other people were getting on this forum

Thank you @sfjoe523! I was able to get the same deal - 2015 Leaf S with QC for $155/month + tax yesterday.
2500 drive off, 3years/36K miles. If anyone else interested, send me a private message for details.

That seems like a great deal.
Questions: $155 + tax on the 155 right - would be around $13.56 so $168.56 for 35 months. Your first payment was in the $2500 drive off. No other fees? Was DMV, Tax on the cap cost reduction all rolled into the $2500.00. If not what were the other fees. I am trying to get an idea of total cost.

Thanks in advance. You can PM me if you want. It is a bummer there isn't more news on the 2015 leases now that in CA most of the 2014s are gone. But I appreciate you posted.

you can do different options lower down just rolls the payments. Any model of the leaf were offering 1300 under invoice after vpp or non vpp customers

Hi, Can someone explain why putting down more down payment will cost more? It's not the first time I seen this, it just don't make sense to me. Thanks.

For example:
Leaf Sv Base model
2500 Drive off
240+tax
$2500 down + $240 x (35 months) = $10,900+tax

5200 drive off
172+tax
$5200 down - $172 x (35 months) = $11,220+tax

Can you please confirm that if the "2500 drive off" includes DMV+other charges? I am interested in a S+QC and qualify for VPP.

Labor Day weekend should be a good time to lease, as the month ends then, and salespeople want to have the highest "numbers" possible. Make sure you get there in time to negotiate a deal, but not so early that they think they have options. ;-) Remember: if you don't need QC or it isn't available in your area, look at cars without it to negotiate hard on. Also remember that if you put a lot down, and the car gets totaled, you will probably lose the down payment and have to start over.

my recent experience major holidays haven't changed incentive wise for the leafs because there no distressed to sell the leaf. the car really sells it self

also in the market for leasing a leaf, talked to a few nissan dealers over the weekend,
but no deal at all. Appreciate if you can share some deal and dealer information.

Newbie questions about "2015 S+QC" mentioned in few posts here.

#1: QC here means just the QC charge port in the front OR the following package ?
"Charge Package Nissan 6.6 kW Onboard Charger (6 kW output) [*] Quick Charge Port" for S ?

#2 : I have a detached garage (about 150 feet from my home). No 240v outlet in the Garage.
Approximate Installation cost for L2 charger at home ?

#3: I have a 20-25 mile commute (RT) and have charging stations at work. Is a L2 charger really necessary at home ?

1. Yes. 2. 1200 3. Not if the car meant for commuting only.

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it.

Sorry.. just wanted to confirm the answer for #1.
Is it QC port in the front of the car ?
OR
the $1000 6.6kW option ?

#1 - QC includes both the 6.6 kW upgrade and the QC port. Neither the 6.6 nor the QC port is available by itself.

#2 - Too many variables to answer accurately, but I won't argue with Leo's estimate.

#3 - L1 charge for 8 hours overnight will more than replace your daily usage, approx 1 kWh added per hour to battery. 8 kWh = 30-40 miles range, depending on driving habits, speed, climate, etc.
