$1000 from Nissan to install equip from AeroVironment

Nissan will give you $1000 towards your purchase of a leaf if you have AeroVironment install the charging equipment.
Do you think this is a good deal or do you think its still better to an electric install an ev charger like a Schneider.

I've had no issues whatsoever with my AV equipment. So I'd say that you should get a couple of other quotes and compare them to the Nissan/AV quote.

I guess that is a small step in the right direction. Most of the people that have had AV do their install paid dearly for it. I installed my EVSE myself and it cost LESS than 100 dollars for the parts.

I would rather see Nissan include the AV charge station in the price of the car and let me install it myself. Those that do not want to do the install could still hire a local contractor for less money than AV will charge them.

$1,000 toward a service that is $1,000+ overpriced does not raise much excitement.
Nothing wrong with getting a quote but I would not pay an advance fee.

I do prefer the lower profile of the Schnieder and Leviton.
