To be fair, TAMA did not become part of Nissan until 1966, long after production of this EV had ceased, so it's technically not Nissan's first EV.

As this article is dated December 4, 2010, I found it interesting that just before the first US buyers took delivery of their Leafs, TTAC predicted that Nissan was going to be showing off this vehicle more and more. TTAC also has its doubts about referring to the TAMA as a Nissan.
