I talked to the dealer I'm using (not the one I purchased the Leaf from), and they suggested quick charging like user davewill suggested. They said if it did drop after the warranty expired, we'd still send the paperwork in to Nissan, as they might cover it in whole or partial, (and stood a...
Interesting. I found this thread that says Nissan is doing partial credits (after warranty expires):

I'm going to contact my local dealer and see what they have to say
My 2012 Leaf has 53,xxx miles on it and 6 DAYS left under warranty. My LeafSpy shows 188 GIDS after a charge to 100% & 14.6 kWh Remaining, and 66.9% (battery capacity).
It dropped the first three bars so long ago, I thought for sure it would have dropped the fourth bar by now.
Am I eligible...
My Wife has had an issue like this 3 or 4 times while on the freeway. It happened yesterday, so we dropped the car off at the dealer today.
the dealer said they would test drive it. :( seeing as it only happens every once in a while, they won't find it.
Aren't there diagnostics they can...
I was able to get mine processed quickly by filing a complaint with the CPUC.
:D
There is a 150 page 'law' of how the interconnections are to be handled. They have 30 days to process the agreements of the 'small' providers like us (rooftop solar, wind, etc.). Without a complete reading...
It's a separate permit and approval, plus power out for a day, plus $3k cost. Yeah, 30% back... But it's a lot of expense for a house that tops out at 40 amp load, and it cuts in to the payoff of the solar.
For what it's worth... I have a 100 amp zinsco panel, and I kept mine and went with 17 M215s on 250w panels. I'm really pleased with the output I'm getting from the enphase system.
It would have been a significant additional cost to replace my main panel and all of the breakers. Note that...
I cruise the freeway faster - 75 instead of low 60's. I would say that I always brake with the intention of capturing as much as possible. My commute is 120 miles or more a day.
My girlfriend commented today that the 4 mpk may as well be painted on... Lol!
Maybe I should try another high...
I'm pressing the "reset history and add to average" button. So it does clear it, but very shortly after its cleared, it's hovering around 4...
I can't believe some people are able o get it under 3 or over 5.
I've put over 4,000 miles on my leaf in 2.5 months, and love it. But don't...
I've driven very efficiently, and I've driven it like a hot rod, and it seems that I always get about 4 mpk.
Sure, I see a slight fluctuation, 3.9 or 4.2, but I find it hard to believe that it's that constant.
Anyone else notice this, or can ome one explain why it's so constant?
Carwings seems broken again this morning. It was working fine, but then it seems to have lost my username and password - comes back with invalid username or password when trying to login again....
hopefully it will come back up soon
