    BOSE..is it worth it?

Is it just speakers that are improved with the Bose system, or is the car stereo itself improved with additional features or a better UI?

No plans to release CarWings app for Windows Phone 7

I personally think the usability of the phone web app is horrid. 1) Having to log in everytime, entering *both* the user ID and password (with no option to "remember" either of them). 2) Having to "refresh" after logging in to see the latest status (and then waiting 30 seconds or more to see...

Leaf owners unite! Easier to reach charge port release lever

As a new LEAF owner, my primary charging problem has been to remember to close the charging hatch when I remove the charging cord. :-) For some reason my brain focuses entirely on placing the charging "nozzle" back in its proper place, so I'm often already backing out of my garage before I...

Leaf owners unite! Easier to reach charge port release lever

No problem here, except that my fingers sometimes hit the wrong level and pop the hood (or both the hood and the charging hatch).

Roofing nails: Tell your LEAF not to play with them!

 Nice. :P She probably does have the attitude of a teen, after all.

Roofing nails: Tell your LEAF not to play with them!

Yeah, I had ordered from them before I had learned of their reputation. However, my dealings with them so far have been very good. I keep fearing that will change because of their reputation, but I'm going to stick with them and give them a chance to keep earning my continued support.

Roofing nails: Tell your LEAF not to play with them!

This morning as I was about to head to work, I was greeted with the "Tire Pressure" warning. I'd only had the LEAF for 4 days, so I wan't sure why it would have dipped in pressure. Once I got out to take a look, I noticed that by driver-side rear tire was completely flat. There was no obvious...

    Delivery of May 2011 Orders

Now that we finally got some sun--it was all rain since I picked up my LEAF last Friday--I decided to give my LEAF its first bath. As it dried and I could finally see it shine in the sun, I noticed the "blue flecks" that others had mentioned on this forum. At least for me, they're only visible...

    Delivery of May 2011 Orders

:P Finally! I got the "your LEAF is here" email from my dealer yesterday while I was doing an environmental community service project. (Must have racked up some good Karma points!) Oh, what a sweet ride. :-) But those backseat headrests are murder on rear visibility. (And I don't mean...

    Woodinville Leafers

I think you met my daughter last night, perhaps while she was working at the moving theater. :-) She said she talked to someone in a LEAF and told him that her Dad (i.e. me) was about to get his from the dealer. When she mentioned your license plate, I once again realized what a small world this...

    Delivery of May 2011 Orders

Well, no love yet. :| My ETA is still "Week of September 13th, 2011". Both customer support and the dealer were confident that "week of" would translated "by", but obviously that didn't happen. The dealer doesn't know where it is, other than that it must be on a truck. I guess there are still...

    Delivery of May 2011 Orders

My dealer (in Bellevue) said he received 4 LEAFs over the weekend and is scheduled to receive at least 10 more this week.

Blink reboots every couple of days. Is that normal?

Perhaps it's common for crappy programmers. :-) I wouldn't know. :ugeek: (In case you're wondering, I previously worked on the core Windows OS, and now I work on Windows Phone.)

Blink reboots every couple of days. Is that normal?

Cool. Thanks. Any idea what the problem actually is? A memory leak, perhaps? :geek: Has anybody tried connecting to it and running a Unix/Linux shell? Since it's providing "web" access, maybe it also provides some kind of administrative shell access. Though I suspect that Ecotality would...

    Delivery of May 2011 Orders

I was told last week that it was confirmed to be in transit to Washington. So I'm feeling pretty hopeful. :)
