Anyone scheduled to have their covers installed at WO in the near future? Or is close enough to swing by and show them?

From the pics that I have seen the seat covers look great..I was worried after one poster said that they fit like a loose BAG

We ordered 11-Charcoal with 23-Cobalt full piping. It came a couple of days ago, but just had a chance to install them this morning. The fit seemed a little loose, and the hooks under the seat could stretch up to meet the correct bar (barely) but the hook was too small for the bar. I have not installed seat covers before so it threw me slightly that I had to unhook the original seats and leave these stuffed someplace to the side...

Seat covers look fantastic! Excellent choices!

To those wondering how to install the rear seat cover - I called Wet Okole this morning to ask how to pop the rear seat cushion out.

There are 2 little hooks that anchor the cushion to the floorboard, a little over a foot (about 13 inches) in from each side of the seat. Push the front edge of the seat in (towards the seat back), then up. That will unanchor the hook. You can do each hook one at at time. You have to apply a little force when pushing in, but it's not too bad.

Makes installing the rear WAY easier than trying to fish the strap through.

I called yesterday, and it seems that mine should be ready sometime late this week, or early next. The plan is to drive down to WO and have them install them toward the end of next week. WO will be free to take as many photos as they would like.

If possible take a camcorder (flip, iphone etc) with you and capture the whole install for the rest of us. This way you can put it up on youtube for those of us who have to do a self-install. This will be very much appreciated...

+1, I would really appreciate an install video as well! :)

Not sure I will be sticking around for the install as my plan is to meet up with a friend for drinks while WO does the install. However, if they give me access and it takes less than 15 minutes, I could probably borrower my daughter's Nikon and attempt to film the action.

Sorry if I missed it in the many pages of this thread, but has anyone with a red LEAF installed theirs yet? I'm curious about how they look...

So, has anyone received it theirs with the group buy deal?

Many of us here on the forum have received those. I got mine (#11 Charcoal with #23 cobalt blue full piping) on 5/28 and installed those on 5/30/11. Pictures below.

sorry for newbie question, but don't seatcovers prevent the rear-seat airbags from working and possibly void the warrantee (I seem to remember from the manual)?
Thanks-
Donn

Wet Okole seat covers are tested for seat airbag compatibility

Just got my Leaf today and the interior plastic is a combination of light tan and darker taupe shade, with dark brown/mocha carpet, even though on the window sticker sheet, it says light grey interior. It's definitely not the light grey/dark grey combination as shown in the LEAFs of other owners in earlier posts on this thread. Even the seat fabric is light tan.

So apparently the LEAFs don't come in just one interior color motif. I don't know which one comes with the gray motif and which one comes with the tan motif, however. My exterior color is Blue.

I'm glad mine turns out to be the light tan motif anyway because I decided to order the light tan cover with blue full piping despite thinking before that there was only a single light gray motif. In this case it will turn out to match much better for my Leaf.

Just a warning for those who haven't picked up their LEAF yet, in case they assume there's only one interior color motif.

Seems like this is more likely just the camera/lighting/etc. and not actually a different color?
