Is there any harm in stopping a full cycle short?

Scenario: Charging to 100% is on, dash reports 4:30 to full charge. I only have ~3hrs to let it charge. Am I doing it harm by pulling it out of the charge cycle early?

No, charging can be stopped before 100%. You may wish to stop charging at home to avoid peak prices, and restart when it is off-peak with the timer.
You must be concerned about damaging the battery. Heat is a more concerning problem for degradation.

Generally, charging a lithium battery to less than 100% is better for the battery than "filling it up." An occasional 100% charge to equalize the cell voltages is still a good idea, though. It's best to use the car soon after doing that.
