Yay! Welcome to November...

So, I wonder how well is Nissan coping with the backlog of October people?

I could see Nissan taking most of Nov to backfill for Oct since they took all of Oct to straighten out Sep folks before Oct evn got rolling along.

I wonder when will Nov folks actually get in. I hope you November folks all get in soon, so post up!

Cheers
mxp.
(November wave)

Personally, I hope all the October and November orders are filled by 1 Dec, since that's the first day I can place my money where my mouth is here on the East Coast. As it is, I expect the way things are going, I'll be ordering some time in February. >rolls eyes<

It appears to me that with the October orders completed, that about 3,500 to 4,000 reservations have had there dashboards opened for ordering. All April 20 reservations, absent a glitch, can or have ordered. November should be starting on April 21 reservations. There probably were about 3,000 reservations on that day. It will be interesting to see if November dashboard openings complete April 21 reservations. The above statistics are not fact but my attempt to draw conclusions from information shared on this site. Other opinions would be welcomed.

Those of you who order, please let us know your location, date, and time of reservation so we can do some tracking of the ordering progress.

Any chance of the California November orders being able to use the CA rebate since delivery will most likely not be until Feb-March?

You need proof of a valid registration to file your rebate claim.

Required supporting documentation will include, at a minimum, the following:
A printed copy of the submitted application signed by the vehicle purchaser, lessee or authorized representative.
Proof of temporary or permanent vehicle registration.
A copy of the sales or lease contract signed by all parties with an itemization of credits, discounts and
incentives received, if applicable.
For individuals, a copy of a utility or cable bill from within the last 3 months or other valid proof of California residency as approved by the California Center for Sustainable Energy. Other forms of valid proof include a signed, dated and notarized rental agreement or a copy of a current vehicle DMV registration. A California driver license is not an acceptable proof of residency.

We won't know until you get closer to delivery. An extra $5m is expected by January for the fund.

Same advice as before: order it. When delivery date comes ... if rebate is highly unlikely, don't buy it. ( Oh boy! I have a feeling California Nissan Dealers are going to see a bunch of orphans early next year because of this. When exactly ? Who knows. March ? )

The program was created from Assembly Bill 118 that was signed by Governor Schwarzenegger in October 2007 and that funds air quality improvement projects through 2015.

Although the money actually allocated at this time looks a bit slim
Once you file you may need to wait for the next funding with the next budget for 2011/2012
There is an additional 5m to be funded for this budget year 2010/2011

November Week 1 just ended.
It seems nobody in November wave had their dashboards open up...
I called into Nissan and they told me I will receive an email notification soon.

Nissan sucks.
:-(

Leon, thank you for telling us that November dashboards have begun to open. Have you heard of any rumors that December deliveries will be delayed. The claim is that there is a software glitch and until that is fixed not deliveries will occur.

Haven't heard that at all. In fact two of my employees just went to training up at the new Nissan training facility up in Ontario CA, and they were demonstrating the Leaf Carwings Iphone interface. They were floored! They were told that droid and other platforms would be completed prior to the cars launch in Dec. No mention of any delays. This traing for solely for Leaf sales specialist and sale leaders so I would think that it would have been brought up there if there was one.

How do I access the dashboard that people talk about? I am on the November order list.

I'm in November list also. You need to wait until you receive email from Nissan to place your order and then, your dashboard will be open.

:D Place your order yet? Nissan will send you an email when your reservation number is next.

Hi James. The '80's called.. they want their car sales strategy back!

Post pictures of "several Leaf Vehicles" and half the forum will descend on your dealership, like locusts. Otherwise, come clean and correct your error. You're confusing the honest folk.

Does anybody really know the order in which Nissan will deliver vehicles to those who have placed orders? I see a lot of information, often contradictory, on this site. When I called Nissan customer service they disparaged this site for spreading false information.
