My friends in the car business tell me that these types of dealer options generally net the dealer 50% of the retail cost. Good way to add a little margin back into the car.

Wonder how long it will be until we see third party options for most of these - things like mats and mud flaps and cargo covers in particular. The decal type stuff may be a little bit harder to 3rd party.

Does anyone have any info on the sound system? Will it have an aux jack? Can it play music from a USB drive? Are Nissan stock sound systems decent? Speakers any good?

I can't help on that right now either...I turfed all the older pictures I had once it became apparent they weren't relevant. I may be able to find one by going through my system backups at work next week, if it's that important to you?

The word I received from a dealer friend on this was it's a clear plastic coating on the front and rear bumpers. I'm not sure if there's anything more to it.

Same source says its a first aid kit and tool kit (what tools would I need?).

I'm still unclear on the iPod interface. It seems there's the standard 3mm jack; Also a USB connector but no word on whether the USB connector provides steering wheel/touch screen iPod control. Yet, on the Nissan web site it states that all Nav systems allow for iPod control via touch screen and steering wheel controls.
Surprised Nissan doesn't play up this feature if it's standard.

Guess, I'll have to wait until the ride and drive to try myself.

The logo could be a tough one. by then i am pretty sure logos and such would be available after market.
