Well, that 85% seems to fit with my actual SCE meter usage and the dashboard miles/kWh. Maybe the rest of my low results are due to driving 65 mph on a slow uphill for about 15 miles and a downhill for about 5. That's one way then I have the reverse on the way back. Those aren't steep hills...

I'm not really sure how you are all getting such high miles/kWh. I take my numbers straight from the electric meter, so I suppose it's possible that after actually charging, the car might have actually stored a little less than that. Being in the denominator, that could raise the value a little...

I'm going to do my best to be there. It will be interesting to try a little more distance than I usually travel each day. I'm looking at about 62 miles roundtrip. I know, I know, everyone else has gone farther, but I'm still not used to that much distance. Still, it should be just fine.

Sometimes I get so frustrated with computers. I found the right location to apply, filled it all out, and tried to submit it. Then it gave me an error saying I needed to enable cookies on my computer. It's a new Mac, and I can't find anything on it. Oh well, maybe tomorrow from work.

I will be there on Saturday too. My order is finally starting to warm up. I have a VIN number and the dashboard says June 29. I called my dealer, but didn't get any new information. He did at least confirm what I already had.

I have an unused EVSE in my garage just waiting to charge some electric vehicle. Since mine isn't here yet, it could be available for someone on his way to the event. I'm in Glendora at the end of the 57 freeway.

While the Leaf is a step in the right direction, the real truth may be that we will all have to figure out how to drive about 80 - 90% less.

I think I can make it to the April 9 meeting at Cerritos Nissan after all. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Too bad I won't have a Leaf to show off with those who have taken delivery. As a matter of fact, I don't even have a delivery date anymore. Bummer. :(
