    Speaker Upgrade Advice

    Hi all, Wanted to see if I could get some audio advice. I own a 2018 LEAF S. The stock speakers are just so bad.. I really wanted to replace them. To me.. they just don't have any clarity.. seem to be missing high range frequencies (and generally just not good). Although it does seem that...

    After 3 Years +++++++++++++++++++

    Can I ask where you are located? I didn't think I lived in a real 'hot' area, but seeing people with 3 year old LEAF's and all 12 capacity bars is very interesting. -Peter

    After 3 Years +++++++++++++++++++

    Still loving the car after 3 years. Hard to believe I haven't been to a gas station in 3 years. Love it! I'm almost at 18,000 miles. I don't drive very far during the week (maybe 15 miles per day on average). On the weekends we take it as far as we can. We do a 76 mile round trip (mostly...

    Quick survey for So Cal residents

    Hi All, Burbank Water and Power is asking for a little feedback about their public charging infastructure. If you have a few minutes can you take this quick survey (should be less than 5 minutes)? They want to expand their public chargers and are looking for feedback from EV drivers...

    Frustrated- pre heat 2013 S (not SV or SL)

    Hi Ray, Thanks for the great breakdown of the timers and the various models. Very helpful! So are there any issues outside of what you have outlined? From what I read, If I set the climate control time to 8am (the time I want to leave the house) the car should be pretty toasty at that point...

    Frustrated- pre heat 2013 S (not SV or SL)

    So I'm still a bit confused about how this works (or doesn't work). If I want to use the Climate Control Timer.. does it actually work in the 2013 model S? I'm asking for my parents (they have the '13 S and live in Wisconsin (cold!)). They don't use a charge timer. Generally they plug in...

    Article: A new LEAF on life

    So cool. What a great example of how you can really live zero emission. Hopefully it will inspire others to get an EV and go solar. What a great combination. Lucky guy!

    2013 SV has the clicking sound

    Hello all, So my 2011 (I'm at 16k miles) has been experiencing a similar clicking sound from the front wheels. I would get one click when I hit the brake pedal. And then if I switch directions (go in reverse) and hit the brake again it would make the click again. Just one click, until I...

    How to quickly glance connected car to see if charging done

    Some great info in that document from the EAACCC... can we add it to our wiki page? "Charging indicators on various OEM Battery and Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicles -AC Propulsion: Do not unplug! Charging has no pilot signal and will arc on disconnect! -BMW ActiveE: Blue light on bottom of...

    Who is driving 2013 Leaf? EPA range is 75 miles!!!

    Some people don't care about the extra features (which seem to break in the long term in my experience). I got the base model 2011 and have no regrets. I don't miss the solar panel (a joke), the fog lights or whatever else they added on. And if you are making monthly payments you are paying...

    Full 2013 Nissan LEAF Specs out

    I think Nissan did a good job with the 2013... especially with the new price. I am hopeful that they will see increased sales. I think there was some talk/question about if any of the software changes on the '13 could be applied to the '11 and '12 models. I think that was also asked at the AZ...

    Letter about possible Nissan Lawsuit

    Curious if anyone else has received a letter from a law firm regarding a potential Nissan lawsuit regarding the battery capacity issues? Although the letter actually says it is related to a defect in the battery cooling system. Funny.. the car doesn't have a battery cooling system so not sure...

    Lamo Leaf driver doing 50 mph in 2nd lane in heavy traffic

    Wow... that's the worst example of freeway drive you can recall? You must not get out much. I've see people cut in front of somebody so quickly they had to slam on their brakes and almost hit the person. I think going slow is not that bad. They weren't in the left lane right And during rush...

    Removing the Carwings OK. Somebody? Anybody? Nissan?

    Well it doesn't exactly make me mad.. but is sure is annoying to have to hit it every time. Sure I can just hit the ok.. but why have a car that does something to make you annoyed every single day. Why do the lawyers always seem to win over common sense? -Peter

    Apparently, I'm the only one seeing these.

    I've never seen another LEAF on a flatbed truck myself. But my LEAF was on a flatbed a few months back when I hit a huge pothole and the tire blew out (Los Angeles roads can be really really bad.. and I didn't see the pothole in time unfortunately). -Peter
