Thick cable under trunk mat ?

There is a THICK cable under the trunk mat, what is this for ? can i unplug ? i found a grommet too so im guessing this cover the hole ? see pics

It clearly is not production so it has to be some kind of testing that Nissan was doing... I'd raise a stink.

I don't have the contact info, but the dealer will likely be useless. Still, best to start with them, at least.

That is easy to test. Start the car, lick two fingers on the hand you do not need anymore, and touch the two contacts. :lol: Just kidding, be careful.

Ahh! His delivery date says 2014 so naturally I assumed it was a new car. If actually a 2011, yes, definitely an aftermarket modification...
