I have a 2016 Nissan Leaf SV with 2 issues.

1.I believe the occupancy sensor is on its way out. The car always thinks there is someone in the passenger seat. As soon as you put the seatbelt on the light goes away. I bought the airbag passenger presence module and plan to install it ( 988569RC5A). Do you guys know if that will need to be programmed or calibrated?

2. I have a B2772 0009 HVAC PTC Heater Voltage HAC-75 DTC. I am worried I will have to buy a new PTC heater and install will take forever. I found a whole heater setup at a junk yard for 350. Pictures attached. Is this the right part?

Please help!!!!

Question if you don't mind.
Does the vehicle come with heat pump option?

Replacing the sensor requires a zero point reset done with factory tool as noted in
alldata info. No personal experience with this.

I have a heat pump which is working. It was 60 degrees this morning in Chicago and I yanked the temperature to 90 and got heat. The energy screen showed the heater taking .5 KW. So from what I understand it is the PTC heater that would probably be bad. The DTC comes and goes by itself on leafspy.

I replaced the OCS and it started flashing the airbag light. I plan to take it to my local mechanic and see if he can initialize the new OCS.

I am just hoping I dont have to pay $1000-1200 for the PTC heater and another 2K for the OCS!
