I was giving a coworker a ride home in my LEAF after work last week, and I was showing off the acceleration of the car. He said to me, "Wow, that's impressive. You can have fun in your car without worrying about polluting!"
I realized that he is exactly right. With a LEAF charged with green power, I can floor it as much as I want (as long as I have enough battery), and not have to worry about air pollution or noise pollution, and it won't cost me that much either. I can have fun (and show off to the driver of the BMW behind me) without feeling any guilt about it!
Yet another reason LEAFs are great cars.
