Does that include several people I spoke to that heard the constant "100 miles" at the Leaf drive and think they can drive on the freeway at 65-70 and go 50 miles each way? I bet most "general" consumers are under the false impression they will go 100 miles and will be surprised when they get lower milage. I've already heard this from several buyers and they don't want to believe otherwise. The Nissan ride and drive presenters were good at avoiding any specifics.

i am glad that the average driver can drive that fast. if i am driving north, i can average 65 mph but that requires lane hopping to move around the traffic which averages probably about 62 mph.

now going south the speed limit is 70 mph. and that is the direction that the Leaf will travel at least one day a week. but the RT is 60 miles. so i dont anticipate problems on that even after several years of battery degradation.

soon we will have data.
