Here's where the DC charge start to taper off. Prior to this point, it's a solid 119.xx amps:

The brains behind the BLINK
Really??? The unit isn't just the huge console in front of the car, but another huge unit off to the side somewhere? No wonder it costs a fortune to buy & install! And no wonder the Nissan unit is revolutionary!

AV and Blink both use extra big boxes separate from what appears to be the charger. The Blink unit is just bigger and more ridiculous. Remember, they get paid to install these (and I believe your tax dollars paid a significant amount to fund this "research"). They don't get paid because they are located in a good or bad location, or because their design is yesterday's big clunky box. Blink advertises 1700 pounds of "stuff".

The Andromeda Power DC charger has the same small footprint as the Sumitomo / Nissan DC charger, yet that 180 pound Andromeda will be far more flexible to power requirements and control. Not to mention, the ability to handle other standards for existing cars, like Tesla.

It looks like KIRO TV in Seattle picked up a blurb about BC2BC yesterday.

Also, I want to begin planning for a reverse electric car rally next June 2013, reversed. So, instead of BC2BC, it will be from BC2BC.

I started a new thread soon to help us formulate the rules.

For what it's worth, this thread was just reviewed by someone at a leading communications firm (their words, not mine), and the U.S. Patent And Trademark Office. That's a good thing, right? ;-)

Trademark Office.... Interesting.

Excellent! Way to go Tony (and Kendall!)! It was fun to follow you guys! We'd love to see the production video when it comes out! Congrats!

Tony Tony, where are you? I keep hitting refresh on SPOT LIVE at no avail.

Anyone else having "Track Tony" withdrawals? :)

For those feeling withdrawal, you can pop more popcorn and start tracking again around 6:30 AM tomorrow/Sunday morning. We'll be starting from Shoreline WA and trading off in Portland around 3pm. If all goes well, we should be rolling into Portland early. We'll be charging at the QC on the Electric Avenue if anyone in the Portland area wants to come say hello!

Akamai keeps changing the location of the video in their server farm. I've uploaded it to YouTube instead:
