A Thought Experiment : Sacramento to Reno in a 2011 LEAF

I used to make this run in the EV1.. I'd charge at Cisco Grove between Colfax and Truckee. Need to talk to the right people though to gain access to their 240V welder socket... One time I was doing a test run from Truckee over Donner to Cisco and back and the guys at Cisco wouldn't let me plug in even though the owner had given me permission.. "How do I know you won't plug in and take $100 of electricity?"
uhm... yeah.
