I just want to thank those of you who have taken the time to gather all this very
useful information on the LEAF, and then for taking the time to share it. I know
how much time it can consume.

I've been on the board since way before I got my LEAF and the information here
has made the experience more enjoyable with fewer surprises.

was somewhat of a skeptic at first that we would even see more than a trickle of one-off EV's here in the midwest as well as that Nissan would ever consider IL as being 'ready' ... happy to say that I was wrong on both counts and in hopefully just a few (OK maybe 6) weeks I'll have my own soon. This forum puts any of the others to shame in the depth of info and participation -- cheers!
