UPDATED:
I dropped by SFO international terminal in early September in my ICE (shame! shame on me) since I wasn't sure what to expect there but here are some pics to share:

Original post:
Just wondering if anyone here have used the SFO airport L2 EVSEs? Do they work well, and are they located accordingly?

NOTE: A couple of months ago, someone here reported that the parking locations in the International wing only had outlets to plug in your own EVSE.

According to Recargo and Coulomb recently, there seems to be L2 chargers deployed:

I used it during a day trip, worked fine (though I noticed one of the 2 charging stations on the 3rd level of garage G wasn't charging). I parked at the International terminal (I think same place TEG parked) because max day charge is only $20, while the parking by the domestic terminal cost $33. The terminals is accessible thru a short ride on Airtrain, and the EV parking is adjacent to the elevator.

Thanks to TEG and yoyofella. I will be planning to check em out tomorrow.

Just got back from SfO. I tried the chargepoint charger on level 1 and couldn't get it to connect. Tried the one next to it and same problems. I called their customer service number (which I think rings in India) and a service rep checked things out and then manually enabled it.. still nothing. I tried another one next to the G area and on the second try, the car beeped when I inserted the connector. It charged after that normally. Unfortunately, I spent so much time trying to diagnose the problem that I only ended up with a 30 min charge before I picked up my traveler and returned home.

I noticed that once my car didn't charge at home with the Blink. I think it is something flakely with the handshake. Anyone else have problems?

You don't, by chance, have charge timers set on your Leaf do you?

If you have a schedule for home night charging (TOU preferred rates) and you try to use public charging during the day then you have to push the override button before it will start charging.

I charged my Leaf there last week. G3, Best spot at the International terminal, as pictured in above post. There are 25 stations at SFO, 5 at the International terminal.

I did not have a chargepass card, so I just called the phone number on the charging station, and they fixed me up. I did Level 2 and it worked fine.

One unfortunate thing about these spots is that if you are away on a trip for several days, you end up hogging the spot as I did for a long period of time. Not a problem for now as generally only 2 of the 5 in International and perhaps 3 or 4 of the 20 in domestic are in use at an time. But eventually it will get competitive. The stations at G3 are against a wall, so it is not possible to share the charger among multiple spots. It doesn't look like the stations themselves are set up to promote sharing. Ideally you could have one station for 4 parking spaces. When a car is charged, there could be an indicator on the station allowing the station to be reused for another car. Now these stations allow an L2 charge and an L1 charge to be done on two different cars simultaneously, but again, because of the location at G3, this was not possible. Also, for L1 you need to use your own cord, which is a little vulnerable to theft. If it were not for that (and the location problem) It would make sense to use L1 when you are going to park there for more than a day, and leave the L2 charger for someone else.
