Saw an ad for the Panamera PHEV on TV today. Not sure if it's available yet.

After a bit of digging, I found http://press.porsche.com/news/release.php?id=776" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it makes no mention of DC fast charging. I guess there's no Frankenplug on this.
The new Panamera S E-Hybrid improves upon the concept offered by the previous Panamera S Hybrid with a more powerful electric motor, a higher-performance battery that supplies more energy and is able be recharged from home or public vehicle charging stations. The electric drive produces 95 hp, more than double the power of the previous model’s electric motor (47 hp). Electricity is stored in a newly developed lithium-ion battery, which at 9.4 kWh has increased capacity over the previous battery (1.7 kWh). Via the integrated on-board charging componentry and the standard Porsche Universal Charger (AC), the battery can reach full charge within approximately two and a half hours when connected to a 240V power source.
This "S E-Hybrid" starts at $99K.

Gee....that's less than $100,000.00!

Surprised we haven't seen an update to Tony's http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=279363#p279363" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; post.

BMW i3 is shipping now (Combo1 optional in the US, Combo2 (optional?) in Europe and CHAdeMO standard in Japan).

GM: Spark EV became available w/optional Frankneplug in either December 2013 or definitely January 2014; Cadillac ELR - no DC FC

Daimler: Mercedes B-Class ED - no DC FC

Ford: Supposedly next FFE still has no DC FC.

VW: Getting closer to the e-Golf....

I've heard that the eGolf will be launched with CCS standard. That will be interesting. I wonder what kind of volumes they will sell in the US. Will it fall into the ~100/month compliance car category? Will it reach the 1500+/month serious contenders? Or will it slot in between where there is currently a void.

I can definitely imagine the eGolf becoming the best-selling SAE CCS car in the US for the rest of the decade. But will it be enough to matter to those rolling out infrastructure?

Lately it seems like the QC stations are both Chademo and SAE so any increase in vehicles of either standard should benefit all.

How did you come to that conclusion. The ones I see around here are all CHAdeMO only.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe that's true in the OC, but certainly not everywhere.

In the northeast, we are starting to get some CHAdeMOs. You can now basically QC your way from DC to Boston. The only SAE CCS I know of is in BMW's NA headquarters in NJ, and it isn't open to the public.

Ok, e-Golf has been shipping for a few months, w/standard Frankenplug.

Specs for '16 Volt are out at http://insideevs.com/next-generation-2016-chevrolet-volt-debuts-full-spec/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Article says no DC FCing.

Those installed in Southern (all?) California are overwhelmingly eVgo, and have both Chademo and SAE by government decree. I'd guess that until some company begins selling some SAE car in volume, any stations planned by market forces will be Chademo only. Though if they're clever they'll stub it out for later SAE expansion should that standard begin to take off.

Updates:
VW introduced a new lower cost trim of e-Golf, the SE which DOES not include standard Frankenplug.

Ford introduced the 2017 FFE which will arrive in fall of 2016 and features (not clear if optional or standard) Frankenplug: http://insideevs.com/2017-ford-focus-100-miles-range-dc-fast-charging-arrives-next-fall-13-new-evs/.

Chevy Bolt, supposedly arriving end of 2016 will have Frankenplug. I'm unclear if it's standard or optional.
