repair/replaice the spolier's solar panel?

Hi, does anyone know how to remove/replace the solar panel? I actually want to get to it to try to figure out why it stopped working and to test it, and to replace it if needed. Thanks

The OEM part is 296E0-3NF0A and it sells for $900! Ridiculous, as it's a low wattage panel and it's used only to charge the 12V lead acid battery. It's not worth replacing at anything close to that price...

Thanks. Really just looking for the steps to remove it. Aside from wanting to check the wiring, the spoiler needs to be painted and would prefer to remove the solar panel first. Could just mask it off, but would prefer the remove the solar panel, paint it, and put it back.

I have the same request. Does anyone have any updates as to how to dismantle this apart?

It’s in the service manual which you can find on https://www.nicoclub.com/nissan-service-manuals . On the 2012 it’s pages EXT-34 and CHG-15
