can you imagine the ebay fees and paypal fees on that? ouch...

It's only $125 FV to sell a car (or boat) on ebay. Add a minor listing fee and the paypal fee is a function of the down payment only. Set it at a couple thousand dollars and make the buyer bring the rest in cash or cashiers check when they pick it up. Ought to be able to keep the sell fees within a few hundreds dollars total.
