how to charge to 100% from phone?

I think that is what is happening. I do have experience of starting a manual charge using phone to get to 100% in the morning AFTER the timed charge (to 80%) had completed. That went well. But, it failed when I started a manual charge using phone BEFORE the timed charge started, when the timed...

how to charge to 100% from phone?

We are on our 2nd month and love the Leaf. A quick question to help plan our days better. On the days that we need 100% charge (we keep at 80% for most all days), how can we do that from the phone? We tried the following but the result wasn't what we expected. Our timer is set to stop charging...

    california HOV form filling help

I need a quick help from those that have filled out the DMV form 1000 for applying for HOV de-cals in California. Our car is a leased car, and so the registration card shows both the lessor and the lessee names. The form 1000 asks for owner and co-owner. What should I fill up there? Only the...

PG&E will be doing some check-ups/service; might charge $?

I have an update for all. Thank you for the great forum we have here and amazing people - Leaf needs more of you folks to help market the "zero-emission" drive Leaf has spearheaded. Ok, now back to topic: PG&E project manager called who was assigned my "project". those are big words and I was...

PG&E will be doing some check-ups/service; might charge $?

Great data. Some things are already happening or happened - so please guide me per this data. * I am on E1 currently, and requested E9-A with PG&E (as I didn't want to pay for separate meter install cost), which triggered all this. I think with E9-A, it is always going to be time-of-day use...

PG&E will be doing some check-ups/service; might charge $?

That makes a lot of sense. My installer did mention that they will be doing that arrangement with city (I think he said city, and not PG&E). I wasn't sure installer will be engaging PG&E as well. I will be talking to PG&E tomorrow and will update all on what happens. thanks a lot!

PG&E will be doing some check-ups/service; might charge $?

Just as soon as I bought the Leaf last week, I called PG&E to request changing my plan to E91. They said no problem, will take about 1 billing cycle - so far no issues. They filled out a form for PG&E to do a service check around their transformers, lines etc etc to make sure the EV charging...

    best way to protect seats?

thanks for all the great suggestions. I am inclined to buy a cloth car seat cover that spices up the dull interior a bit. No idea how these would look though...

Why would you not lease right now?

All inclusive. I just edited my original post. If you get $4650 off list as dealer discount (then additional $7500 federal + $1000 nissan rebate), and money factor of 0.00071 (credit score of 740+), and ask for zero down (they deduct the initial payments out of the federal rebate), you will get...

Why would you not lease right now?

For those on the fence of buying/leasing vs waiting out, here is something to consider (at least for California bay-area commuters with a avg 30-55mile RT commute a day) - I would think this is a very slam-dunk case of going with lease ASAP on 2012 model (because of rebates available now vs...

Poll : The official "Did you Lease or Buy?" thread

I wonder if people can start to "reduce the withholding" during the year enough that year-end taxes will show that they owe Federal $7.5K+ money which then would automatically make them get the refund. This way, there is no more gamble. This of course assumes that people have a good idea of how...

    best way to protect seats?

Bought the leaf two days ago, thrilled! In particular, the back seats will be ravaged by the kids and the white/light cloth interior is going to be really messed up. Is the Wet okole the only good option? Don't want to pay $300+ (for front and back), but again, if that is the only way, so be...

    SF bay area Blink service?

Just bought a new Leaf and the Blink was installed the same day (happy so far). The electrician Armando from Mr. Electric was very informative - walked me through a lot of stuff, and also opened it up to take care of a few things such as (1) new SD card (with 2.1 firmware, very stable so far, I...

leas"ers" cannot have personalized license plates - bummer

Perhaps others knew it - but it was a bummer for us :-(. Oh well. Not that it would have changed our plans of buying instead of leasing.... For those not knowing about it, California DMV asks whether the auto is leased/owned-by-govt, and if you answered yes, it states in red that you can't have...

    NIssan Quality, Not Impressed

Bought a leaf this week and going through the board...sorry this is an old thread. Still wanted to share: I have a 06 sienna and so glad I had the extended warranty on it: leak on transmission transfer case was a 10hr labor, AC noise needing core replacement, steering rack leak needed steering...

    Insurance?

We sold our 09 BMW 328i and bought (leased) the 2012 Leaf, as wife's primary vehicle. All else remaining same, insurance premium went up 33%.
