I did a quick search in this thread for any mention of 2012. Anyone know if these instructions apply to a 2012 Leaf? Thanks!

2013 SL, delivered with flat tire and non-working Carwings.

Glad to see another Colorado Leaf owner :D I've never had tire problems until these last 2 years. First with my Prius (just prior to getting my Leaf) I got a flat, a nail in the tire. 2 weeks later (still in my Prius) I ran over some concreate patching - the tar they put on cracks. Had to...

Will your next EV be a Leaf or another brand - why?

My current plan is to save up to be one of the first with a Tesla Blustar. I love my Leaf and so does the family. I already have a family member who wants the Leaf when I get the Blustar. They'll just have to wait 3.5 more years

    GE Wattstation - Installation

I've had my GE Watt station since I bought my Leaf in Jan 2012 with no issue so I'd assume that any Leaf bought after Feb 2012 has the update. I do like the clunk the station gives off. It tells me when the car's done heating/cooling the cabin in the morning 8-)

    Now, go vote

++Obama (Yes I like to pre-increment!) Less power to the banks and corporations is how we solve the financial problem, not by making the rich richer. There's no such thing as trickle down. There is trickle up though. As the poor/middle class get more money, they will spend it. The spending will...

GE WattStation Problem Thread (Was: Dead on Day 2 of use.)

It's not just GE WattStation, it's any charger that actually follows the J1772 standard. I've been using the GE WattStation for 6 months now, though, and have had no issues.

Official Infiniti LE thread - early 2017, 60 kWh

Have you considered getting solar panels? You'd probably pay back your investment in only 5 to 7 years or so at those rates!

EXCLUSIVE: pic of Nissan's first LEAF prototype!

Exxon to spend $150B over 5 years to find oil, gas

All that money just so we can stay in the decline of the hubbard curve. If only they'd invest in batteries or space exploration! A must watch set of 8 videos about gas consumption and the exponential function. Video 5 discusses gas consumption specifically...

Drive Across US on 10 Gallons of Gas?

Get back to me when it takes less petroleum to make one gallon E95 (currently something like 3 gallons petroleum for one gallon E85/95) And forget about electrolisys for water->H2. 1) Water is already becoming a limited resource (never use food/water for anything else besides food/water (same...

    Public L2 charging $1 - 1.50/h reasonable?

It's more complex but how about a ratio of electricity rate and time; so that as you charge the car you're not charged for the space but once you're fully charged the cost per hour goes up. (base_parking_price) * (total_time - time_charging) + ((2 * price_of_electricity) * time_charging)...

Can anyone explain the Colorado state tax credit for EVs?

Thanks dgpcolorado.... I didn't think I was confused but when she said what she did I started doubting my understanding of how it worked. P.S. The links in your previous posts are no longer valid. Here's the new link...

Can anyone explain the Colorado state tax credit for EVs?

I discussed how the Colorado tax credit works with my tax advisor and she said that it's either Federal or State; not both. i.e. If you owe more than $7500 Fed then the state credit does not apply. If you owe less than $7500 then the state will pick up the difference up to $6000. This seems...
