Limited Power - Motor power is being limited (Error with full charge)

Nope, don't have Leaf Spy (but my neighbor does). I'll see what the dealer comes back with on Monday. This Leaf is our second car (and second Leaf), so it doesn't get used much, but we like to have it for short jaunts to the grocery store if needed. I'll consult with my neighbor about Leaf Spy.

Limited Power - Motor power is being limited (Error with full charge)

My 2015 Leaf (with 4500+ miles on it) was towed to the local Nissan dealer last week with the turtle light illuminated and the EV warning light also illuminated. Tech tells me that they believe a cell is bad, but have to confirm this with Nissan on Monday. More to follow.

    Tesla Supercharger Network

"More unexpected locations not on Tesla's future map: US 101 along coastal Northern California and Oregon. Eureka CA, Crescent City CA, and Lincoln City OR are in permit stage. Seaside OR is under construction and expected to open soon. " Eureka, CA is now under construction. It should be done...

    Tesla Model X

My new Model X is being delivered on Monday. We will be a two EV family with our Leaf and our X. I ordered a white, 6 cloth seat, audio upgraded, charger upgraded, air suspension, tow package, non-premium packaged, model X 90D, and I'm really looking forward to its delivery here in rural...

    Official Tesla Model 3 thread

In my viewing, it looks like the roof is two pieces of glass, separated by a center strip between the two glass pieces. I think this will facilitate the lift back aspect of the vehicle.

Poll : Number of miles before losing the first bar

Just lost my first bar at 38,800 miles on my 2012 on the far north coast of California. My range is still 60-65 miles for the most part. Love my Leaf, and we will keep it for local driving even though we have a Tesla Model X on order.

    TSLA corporate outlook

I've been reading "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Burton Malkiel and his ideas about irrational exuberance and stocks seem to fit Tesla. I certainly hope Tesla makes it and is successful (and I have a Model X reserved). They make compelling vehicles and have new methods of continuous...

    Tesla Model X

I'm expecting my model X to appear early next summer (perfect for us) given the history of the model S production. We want to pull a travel trailer with it and it looks like the latest numbers show about a 10,000 lb capacity. Will Tesla make it as a company? I don't know, but I hope so. We...

    Tesla Model X

We have reserved a model X. We will be all electric, keeping our 2012 Leaf, and having the X for hauling and trips. I'm excited about it.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and brake system warning light

My 2012 Leaf with about 28,000 miles on it had its yellow VDC and brake system lights activate on the dashboard. I tried to turn off the VDC controls, but that did nothing for the warning lights. I took the vehicle in for service. The service tech tried to turn off the codes, but they popped...

    Stealing the cord?

A cord has been cut and stolen from a Chargepoint station in Eureka twice in the last two weeks. The cord was recovered at a local recyclers but the j1772 head was missing. When I discussed this with someone from the Redwood Coast Energy Authority when they were checking on their newly opened...

    buying a used 2012 leaf

Sounds good. I saw a 2011 red Leaf yesterday at McCrea Nissan in Eureka that had been traded in for a 2013 model. Car has all of 3800 miles on it and priced at $18,500. My wife went over to our neighbor to encourage them to buy it. Quite a deal.
