So I registered my vehicle in Broomfield county today. It was way more expensive than I thought it would be. I guess I haven't bought a brand new car in some time. I already knew about the $50 fee for EV. My question here to everybody is why is there an EV sticker we are supposed to mount on the passengers side top right inside of the windshield? What is the purpose of this sticker? What happens if I don't put it up there? I have googled and cannot find an answer.
I understand the $50 fee, although I don't like the $20 to the grant fund so Walgreens can charge a 500% markup on electricity plus a $.30 connection fee, but that's beside the point I guess.
I don't like stickers on my car. If my car is registered then obviously I have paid all fees. Anyone else in Colorado wonder this or am I the only one?
