I have noticed more chargepoint level 2 stations supporting 14.4 kWh, which would be a great plan b if chademo was out. I would see if there were ny options out there for a higher rated replacement to the stock.
Provide a link, since what you write does not make any senseDougWantsALeaf said:I have noticed more chargepoint level 2 stations supporting 14.4 kWh
JeremyW said:Thats a glitch in how plugshare reports that station (well, a bunch of L2s). It's 2 ports of L2 at ~32A 208V. Not 14kW.

Level 2 j1772 at this site are 14.4kW (is that 2 phase?). Only a few cars can charge level 2 at that rate in the US.

Exactly 1 checkin that claimed to use the full current. And one more at 73 Amps.
In more remote places, I'd suggest dual 40 Amp L2 stations, for better redundancy, more usability and similar install cost. 100 Amp service can support 80% of that as continuous current. I suspect but don't know for sure that the dual charger option on the eTron uses two 50 Amp J1772s to get maximum power. This would allow full speed use if both stations are free, and for two cars to charge at lower rates overnight.
