So I have this low level thumping noise - just barely audible, and just barely feelable in the steering - that matches the wheel rotation frequency. I checked the wheels for bubblegum, rocks, etc, but there was nothing there. Does this sound like a wheel bearing? Usually with a wheel bearing you can make the noise louder or softer when loading up the wheels during a left or right turn. This doesn't seem to be the case.
I have 24,000 miles on my 2012 LEAF and run the tires at 40 psig. Could it be a bad tire?
Anyone else know of anyone who had something like this?
