If the battery pack is the only difference for the '14 model I would imagine most folks would be just fine with the '13 model unless they lived in a really hot climate. I live in Ft.Worth and it gets pretty darned hot here. However, I'm nearing on 3 years of Leaf ownership and I've only lost 1 "bar" or roughly 15% capacity.
 
Experience has shown otherwise; temperature degradation is significant in so-called temperate areas that one would not have expected to see it...

I'm not concerned about the battery. Here in Virginia it has not been an issue.
I need more range and won't buy another Leaf or electric car unless it offers more range
A 32kwh pack would be great in a sportier design
I am hoping Nissan is able to come up with a larger cap pack for th 2015 model.
