Does a resource like this exist online? Or do I need to wait for my Leaf and use Carwings?

If this repeats a prior topic, please link to that topic. Thanks.

If this map is correct, there is not a single J1772 charger in all of the Financial District. I am hoping it is not correct.

Three at City Hall, Dr Carlton B Goodlet Pl, San Francisco, CA 94102,

and 1 at Pier 27 The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA 94111,

you will need a Coulomb card to use them.

Here is a new ParkPod Station in the Financial District at the Hilton:

We'll have many more SF charge stations up in the next couple weeks. Also don't forget Leaf dealers should also have some.

Keiji, that is one cool map. Love the "in use/available" status data.

David, that is a beautiful-looking device at the Hilton. It's nice to know it's there.

I now appreciate just how close to the inception of this revolution we really are. Very close! Sure, you can say EVs have been around for years, but not like this. Things are about to change.

Am I right that basically all of the existing charging stations in SF City-owned parking lots do not use J1772 and therefore will need to be replaced?

many of the existing stations with the older Avcon, etc are being replaced with J1772 and new ones are also going in quite rapidly. I suspect within 6 months there will be many for you to choose from. At http://electric.carstations.com we are trying to corral all these different sites in addition to users like your self finding and adding them in. You'd be surprised how many keep popping up just in a press release and no where else for instance. We'll have another hundred or more entered from all over the country in next couple weeks, in addition to some map functionality updates.

I was wondering just how many current LEAF owners are registered with this pay-per-use service?

Also, just curious how much are the charges? price kW/H ?

Was just at the Performing Arts Center Garage on Grove Street last night. The EVSE's there haven't yet been converted to J1772 (or replaced).
