I've been on the phone with my salesperson (haven't ordered the Leaf yet.. hoping to do so this weekend) and he is adamant with me that even though it's not listed anywhere, the SV Navigation includes the rearview monitor and camera. I'm skeptical...

Can anyone who has a MY2013 SV standard package in their driveway comment whether you have it or not? I've read through this forum and everyone here is equally adamant (backed up by the specs) that the RVM is not there.

Thanks!

I just got a 2013 SL last week and can't believe that it doesn't have a RVC. I wish I would've read the forums first. Don't get me wrong, I love the car but its crazy for a RVC camera not to be standard with this trim level. So, unfortunately, I can definitively attest that unless you get the premium package, you will not have the RVC on the SL trim and I'm assuming the SV as well.

The RVC rule is in effect for MY 2014 cars.
You sure about that? It seems like the ruling got delayed again.

Once again, the federal mandate for backup cameras has been delayed. According to Automotive News, the rule requiring backup cameras in new cars is being pushed back to 2015, reportedly because regulators are now considering giving safety rating incentives to vehicles equipped with this new technology....
