On Labor Day I got a deal on a blue 2013 SL... included Premium Pkg (all round cam and super stereo) Also had floor mats

About 36k list
used forum invoice prices... called 3 dealers
Posh Walnut Creek dealer offered 375 over inv
Nearby Oakland dealer offered 200 over
Close across the straits Vallejo offered 1500 UNDER... after I enquired via Email late the night before Labor day...
Picked up the car at noon the next day.
The finance person attempted to sell me the warranty using the ICE car brochure... I refused... knowing that I should still have it available until the 3 year warranty expires.

Nicely Mr. Ryan Rinker of Vallejo Nissan also got me into the (almost free) AV charger EV Project program so I payed the permit and such and got a nice Aerovironment 32 amp charger.

Used to drive a Ford Flex... this is much more economical... So far so good 1 month into LEAF ownership. :geek:

Can you send me your agent info? I am looking to lease S model, and live in Union City.

Thanks,

Stevens Creek Nissan.

I see 256 left of the free chargers + install (today opened with 398), so my guess is they will be gone by Thursday (maybe even by tomorrow...).

For all CA folk looking to buy on a first Tuesday to take advantage of the CEC program for a free Level 2 EVSE - it expires in 2013, and since today's already 2 days after the 1st Tuesday of the month, they're down to 165 EVSEs as of this posting. Check here for availability, and move quick if you're on the fence.

Good news is the federal and state incentives for $7,500 and $2,500 are NOT due to expire too soon - lots of funding in the Federal, don't recall state but I think it's healthy too.

Congrats on your deal! We have almost the exact same situation.
I hope your 52 mile commute is always pleasant!

If you guys want an industry secret here it is.

Shop your lease 1st and your trade to a company like Carmax who will buy your trade regardless of purchase.
Take the 7 day guarantee from carmax and take it to the dealer that would give you your best lease.
It causes less haggle and hassle for both parties.
You know you got a good deal when you go through the Internet Dept via phone/email.

Trust me I make the most LEAF deals go smooth when we do this, I'm sure the dealership may not like it but its fair and accurate.
