And my own review of the LEAF, particularly after I got as good look at the SF Drive event, is that Nissan did a rather good job of integrating the requirements of the EV (aerodynamic efficiency, short nose, high seating to accommodate battery space, etc.) in the overall design.
I still feel the back could have been better. Extend the roofline a bit - so that it is just short of the bumper and bring it down at a 80 deg angle, instead of some 65 they are using.

Maybe nissan will do that when they introduce the LEAF wagon.

As was done 50 years ago, as seen here:

Look at the positive side, at least the LEAF designers didn't do this:

I can find fault with the LEAf design also. IMO, it's a bit "over-styled" with a few too many lines, bulges and angles. But like it or not, that's the current trend. I haven't found Nissan design to be particularly inspired lately, and I was relieved at how good the LEAF (and the Juke for that matter-which may be my next 4wd ICE vehicle) look in "person".

Well I'm all set up for this Saturday at Pearland (south side of Houston) TX. The test drive team will be there and letting us do our thing. Looking forward to it.

@retrodog

I am also testing in pearland this weekend. I have two slots, one for me, one for the wife. There is no way I am sharing my wheel time. On my wife's drive I will be doing lots of button pushing to figure out what I can with audio/informatics.

Here is to hoping they hit the state before Easter.

I liked the car. Too many details to go into. I took a friend and he put it in the clearest words possible, "Nissan took their time, did their research, and made a real car. I'm impressed."

How did you like it? Is the wife wanting one bad now?
