Installed: Philips Daylight 8's DLRs

Had my Leaf for 2 years, finally got around to installing some DLR's.
Ordered a pair of Audi style DLR's on Ebay for $16 delivered
Tapped into the PDM #57 wire for power, but ran GND wire from DLR's to chassis near the horn.

These pics were taken right after the install, full daylight.

Gonna change them out with Philips Daylight 8's,

Update: Got rid of the first set of DLR's
Philips Daylight 8's are now installed. Made a custom bracket to mount the DLR's
about 1.5" below the grill opening. These are bright! and they dim when headlights are turned on.

They look sharp, but not especially "visible" in daylight. That is to say, you can see them lit, but the eye isn't drawn to them. When I want DRLs I turn on the parking lights...
