For a while now, I've been aware of an intermittent clanking sound from one rear wheel of my '14. I only heard it when parked, under two conditions: while exiting the car after parking it, or if I would rock the car by pushing on a rear quarter panel. It sounded like metal-to-metal contact and I was concerned.
A tech at the dealer had run into that before - turned out to be the shoes in the parking brake shifting position when a rear wheel rotated slightly. My parking space has the left rear wheel elevated a little, and on dirt rather than pavement. So when the suspension would unload a little as I got out of the car (I'm 215+ pounds), the wheel would rotate very slightly and the parking brake shoes would move with it, causing the clanking.
