Hi. I’ve just bought a 2017 30kw Leaf from a (hopefully) large reputable dealer. It’s a UK import which isn’t the usual thing here in NZ. I’m just getting used to the lack of engine and transmission noise!
I’ve been reading the threads re the GPS SIM cards and mine has the UK one and thinks I’m in Scotland! It would be great to get this changed to NZ but I’m not holding my breath from what I’m reading!
Anyway, I am pleased to be part of a forum and hopefully will give tips as well as get them.
Tip I’ve learned today was how to stock the mirrors from squeaking when they close and open.
You set the mirror down and right (on r.h.s) and squirt some lubricant into the corner of the swivel joint. I’ve tried silicon and CRC. It’s improved things a lot but they still squeak but I suspect I’ll be doing it again.
