I just heard about this company today. Apparently they have units in the field already. Now I know where all the 'extra' Leaf cells are going.... :shock:

They seem to be in trouble. I've seen another article that paints an even more dire picture but I'm not sure about its accuracy. https://freewiretech.com/contact-us/ mentions another location in Colorado.

My work has some of https://web.archive.org/web/20231031120420/https://freewiretech.com/mobi-ev/ which they seem to have discontinued. We were borrowing some on a trial basis before COVID then we finally got our own.
 
Startups are hard, sorry to hear of their trouble.

It seems like when (or if) solid state batteries hit the market something like this will be needed to manage the high charge rates touted for solid state batteries.
