Surprised your inverter doesn't do a better job of regulating output voltage? You are not charging with DC directly from the panels? How do you get 252 V from an inverter, mostly they invert to 120V..... We have the same system here, panels batteries Outback.....

That's what happens when you add 30 amps to a circuit with no load.
The enphases are doing exactly what they are supposed to.
All the 120v micro inverters I have ever seen appear to be garbage.
There's no way I know of to charge a car with DC directly off the panels and if there was I wouldn't want to pay for it.
To rephrase the original question, I am under the impression that you charge batteries and run off an inverter- which inverter do you have with 240V output? just curious what is available these days.....
 
All the enphase grid tie micro inverters I have seen as long as I can remember have been 208v and 240v.
No battery, I'm grid tie.
