Chargepoint public charging

I have a 'free' Chargepoint access card and have used it at a few free Chargepoint sites. My wife wants to drive the Leaf to work for the first time (we just got the Leaf last week) and the Chargepoint site near her office is free for the first 2 hours then $2 after that. Will I need to upgrade to a paid Chargepoint card, or will it allow her to charge for free for 2 hours then just stop charging?

The card you have is fine. The only reason your card doesn't work at pay locations is that you haven't either put a credit card on file, or prepaid on the account. You just need to log in and provide a credit card so that they can bill you for usage...or you can call to do it.

Thank you for the reply. While I had them on the phone I went ahead and put $25 on the card, I am sure I will use it eventually. Heck, I save that amount in gas every couple of days!
