This worked for me.

1. Go to My Nissan Owners Portal on a PC. Log on. Change your user name to an email address.
2. Log on to get the PIN and password.
3. Enter it in your vehicle Nav system.
4. Go back to Nissan owners website select manage vehicle tab, click edit vehicle.
5. Copy the new PIN and password as it will have changed and go back to your vehicle and enter it in the Nav. The portal will now update your car.
6. Log onto your original Nissan Leaf app with email address and site password.
You will now be able to connect to the information center from the vehicle.
7. The two apps in the Play Store titled Nissan Connect did not work.

I hope this helps someone.

Done.

Can you explain what to do here in more detail?
I've logged in. In the "Manage Vehicle" tab, I clicked "Edit Vehicle", and that brings up a window with my pin & password.
The pin & password shown is still my original pin & password from when I first bought & registered the vehicle.
3. Enter it in your vehicle Nav system.
Every time I do this, it says that it failed to connect to the information center.
4. Go back to Nissan owners website select manage vehicle tab, click edit vehicle.
5. Copy the new PIN and password as it will have changed
When I go back, my information hasn't changed, which I guess confirms that the car never made contact with the information server.

Has anybody been able to connect to the information center from their vehicles?
For example, attempt to update the list of stations?

Will try today; I need to replace my air filter, so I'll try sending an address to the car.

Color me massively confused. All I did was select a new user name (email address) for the web site that I subsequently ended up having to enter in the original Nissan LEAF app on my iPad. Although I haven't had the need to try anything other than requesting an update from the car, that at least seems to be working. Am I supposed to be doing something additional?

I was unable to accept the agreements yesterday, however once I logged in today, they were already accepted and my car had since connected overnight and updated the website.

I had a trouble ticket in with no call back so far, but I'm happy with the results today!

Still no driving history access for me. Nissan not answering the phone until Monday.

Those who have reported access to driving history, are you able to get all data previously available from CW?

That is, can you still access all daily use from your initial CW sign-in?

And using ERS, can you see the present month and two previous months directly, and are you able to download years of monthly data all the way back from your initial CW sign-in?

Yes: I am able to see all driving history (as of yesterday). Don't know what you mean by your last sentence, but everything pretty much looks like it did before with some slight changes to the GUI. I can even do a "route planner" and send routes to the car (which I will verify in the car later).

I wonder if the send route is a feature with the still to be released new NC EV app, i.e., on the portal not yet in app. I don't think legacy Carwings can handle.

Climate on and off is working too.

The only thing that's not happening as expected are updates to the visuals without logging out of the app and logging in again. Sometimes with a confirmation message and sometimes without, as noted here (except now it's happening on both my iPhone and iPad):

http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20370&p=437601

So that would appear to be a long standing app problem rather than related to this change.

I have not had to change anything inside the car. Car is connecting to the information center and downloading information. Oh, and Google Maps "Send to Device" appears to be working again! YAAY!

Can you view and download the Electric Rate Simulation Data?

For example, below is a screenshot from my CarWings ERS page including 7/13/14, the four trips on a single charge, totaling 126.1 odometer miles (showing the CW/Dash m/kWh gauge ~2.5% under-report of miles driven) on the route I regularly use for range/capacity tests.

Showing from left to right Total (kWh use), Consumption, Regeneration, Distance traveled, and Economy.

https://owners.nissanusa.com/nowners/user/home works like normal for me, no changing anything in the car, no messing with passwords or codes of any kind.

android app works for me after changing username only to match username change, again no codes or passwords of any kind.

https://www.ev.nissanconnect.com/EV/home/index?nn shows my last trip eco and seems accurate

My eco rankings say Platinum and 5,343rd place (4.7 m/kwh)

Driving history works for me showing daily, monthly, annual

Eco rankings tab shows me regional and world top lists and such

occasionally a link will time out and give me an error page with 2 lines of text but it doesn't always happen so it's just a load issue on the servers.

Electronic Rate simulation is doing that for me now the error page says

NOTICE

The service cannot be provided.
Please try it again or contact the Nissan help desk.

edit: tried again and got to the electric rate simulation page and all the graphics were there but the data was blank. OH, but I had october selected, switched to Sept and I have data.

So I decided to give a try... Here's the interesting rub--seems with Nissan there is always an adverse rub... Anyway, they are requiring me to update my profile to indicated two contact telephone numbers, and it refuses me entry unless I give them a cell phone--yes, can't give two landlines, must be a cell phone... FORCED DATA MINING... Nissan technocrat... Well, at the moment, I say, forget it... While my LEAF has been trouble free, dealing with Nissan, well, mileage varies...

I thought that was only required if you have charging notifications turned on. Or are you looking to get notifications to a non cell email address?

I got the new password and PIN after the change in user name IIRC.

Finally got everything connected.
Only 5 days out of commission.... and I have owned the car for 9! ;)

But happy to be connected back up!

I was finally able to fix my problem.

I deleted my vehicle in the owners portal & re-added it. This provided a new pin & password for carwings, and the new values worked in the car. Unfortunately, I lost all of my carwings history, but I never really used it much.

I'm not sure why, but carwings did NOT give me new values for pin & password when I first logged into the new portal.

It is all there for me at

I only have had the car for five weeks, though.
