Can extended warranties be transfered from one leaf to another?

Just wondering since I will be buying one for my leaf... if I were to later get a 2015 or 2016 leaf... can the extended warranty be transfered??

Some extended warranties can be cancelled for partial credit if you sell the car.

The extended warranty can be transferred to the new owner of the car it was purchased for. It is supposed to be done within 30 days of the sale of the car. If no claims are made on the extended warranty, it may be possible to get a refund if it is cancelled.
