I we found oil on Mars, the theological implications would be staggering!

While finding any sort of life on Mars, or evidence of past "primitive" life, would be extremely fascinating I don't see how it would have theological implications. At least it wouldn't for me. Discovering intelligent life elsewhere in the universe would raise interesting questions for me as a Christian, though.
