Perhaps this is normal, I don't know, but when I start it up, there's slight knock knock sound. Is this normal? If it's a generated sound, can it be changed, or eliminated? Thank you.
 
There are several relays and some big contactors that switch ON when you start the car which make a clackity clack or thumping sound when they get energized. This is just how they work and is normal, no way to stop it from happening.
