Lately I've experienced brake loss, break pedal feels funky. Based on reading some of the posts it feels like the best bet is to replace the 12v battery. I also have OVMS and do experience complete battery drain over 3-4 days if the car is not used.

So for that reason I'm gravitating towards a LIFePO4 battery.

Would this TIMEUSB https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BBZL5BPR/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A14JAP3JSJ9CZZ&th=1 battery work in my 2014 Leaf?
The LIFEPO4 batteries have a different terminal (post), are there adapters available?

I also saw notes about some settings in the OVMS can reduce drain. Can someone point me to the instructions.
Thanks,
Balazs

Based on that last sentence, it's definitely time to replace that 12v battery.
You will get a million recommendations, but I would look at the Antigravity Lithium batteries (something like https://antigravitybatteries.com/products/starter-batteries/restart-oem/atx20-rs/). The trick with the Leaf (and really all EVs) is it doesn't have to have a lot of power or even fit in the existing (lead-acid) slot. I have used a small 20 A-Hr Lithium battery (turned on it's side) for almost 10 years now (read this thread https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=11999) with no issues.
You can post OVMS questions in this thread (https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=11436), but the one setting I modified to prevent 12v drain was the timeout value for both WiFi and especially cellular (if you have the modem daughter card). Since it spends most of the time in my garage, I have the WiFi timeout after like a day or so and the modem timeout after a few days; it depends on if you have it sitting in an airport or something and need status, but the modem is the biggest battery drain in the module (because it has to answer "pings" every now and then).

Just a little update to keep the discussion going for those with ongoing 12 volt battery issues!
At one year my 12 volt LFP replacement battery from Summit is working just fine; however, they no longer list the OHMMU battery unless on special order and that's pretty expensive.
