If it's a quality sunroof that's professionally installed then you're adding value to the car. Not that I'd spend more than a grand for a vehicle that I don't intend to keep but if you're going to do it the sooner the better.

Yeah, saw it a few days ago on ebay... then decided to go the open EVSE route. Couldn't find a whole lot of reviews on it but my thinking is that for that price I would rather just upgrade my stock EVSE.

Thanks. All of the mods I've done can be undone so no big definitely not an issue. In fact I've already undone the on with ignition LED marker lights. Soldered the cut wires, heat-shrinked, and everything. You'd be hard pressed to find evidence that they were ever cut and spliced back...

I was going to add a light to the port on our MY2013 leaf but when we got it I notice that there was one already there... and it's nice. Retrofit for previous years?

Ok. Would have rather just seen some pics along with the details after you had them mounted. Glad you're excited about your purchase though, should look much better than stock.

I'm pretty sure that the battery pack in the Leaf is Lithium-manganese which has less energy density than traditional Li-ion but are more resistant to damage from extreme temps as well as being harder to ignite. There is a long, boring, and technical video on youtube that discusses this.

How much for a 2013? Just traded in our previous light duty towing vehicle.
