    SOC-Meter Kit Upgrades

Thanks Gary. I watched the device closely over the past couple of days. Here is what I saw. First, if the device is warm, everything works perfectly - both modes and all five values. Depending on how cold it is, at power on, I may get a few dim random figures in the display, the 0000 and then...

    SOC-Meter Kit Upgrades

I have been having trouble with the display showing random characters when the meter is cold. Been too busy with other stuff to deal with it. Anyway someone on the Seattle Leaf board, can't remember who, told me that some of the early display modules were defective and had this problem...

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

I don't yet have winter tyres for the Leaf, so I had to drive the Starlet twice. It does very well in the snow, but I expect the Leaf will be awesome with the right tyres. A secondary reason was that I'd rather some moron who should have stayed home hit the Starlet than the Leaf. ;)

    Parking outside

My Leaf has to live outside, no choice. :( Biggest problem is tree detritus accumulating in the wiper/air intake area. Here's my charging solution.

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

The usual. "How far does it go?' "How long does it take to recharge?" "How much did it cost?" "How much is the 'charger'?" He seemed more than a little interested. But dummy me never thought to direct him to this site.

ICEless in Seattle : Official Pacific NorthWest thread

Approaching Burien on the fwy today, a man in a Prius waved me to pull over. I answered his questions in the Ivar's parking lot. :)

    Touchy window control

I had exactly this problem with the driver's window until I re-read the manual and found that it's not the time you hold the button, but the degree to which you do. When you're not driving, ;), play with the button a little. There are actually two clicks you can feel. The first is the usual...

So, owners what range are you getting ?

65.2 mile loop today, with many stops, some freeway but mostly not. Ran the heat all the way, didn't need the A/C to clear the windows. ECO, but I did not drive gently. ;) I plugged in at Freddy's but was only in the store for about five minutes. Left 100% about 50ºF Returned 44ºF, 1 bar, 11...
