Anybody know where to report this to, at least to get the status. Thanks..

The ones on both my rear doors have failed. Nissan's prices are $384 & $334 for these. Ouch. My mechanic wants $95/hr for labor.
Anybody know an alternate source for these parts?
After ~5 yrs, this is the rare issue this car has developed. TIA.
RedLeaf, My tirade was not directed at you, but rather at Nissan. My apologies for that. OP was meant to be original post (not poster).
We live in a world where companies such as Google, Nest & Tesla have made technology dead simple. Guess Nissan falls a few notches below that.
It's 2015 and Nissan just decides to switch things over without informing anyone. But then Carwings is so 1990s and maybe they are operating in a time warp.
Oh wait, OP says it will switch over. Just like that.
Nissan, you are completely clueless.
Intriguing dilemma but the car is increasingly untenable in its current state.
48 mi range
3.3 KW onboard c
80 mi daily driving
Ambient temperatures still in the mid 90s and my battery swap is scheduled in about a week.
Appreciate the response. Hope Nissan reads it and rethinks their marketing strategy. Your note has convinced me to not upgrade the NAV but rather save that money for a phone upgrade (Nexus 5x due out at the end of the month).
It's only $7 (for the inspection) + $11 ~ (when you renew your registration), IIRC.
Note: inspection fees. Other additional registration fees is ~ $50.
