    NASHVILLE TENNESSEE - LEAF

Hi All, Happy New Year! Haven't been on here in forever! Hope all is well with everyone's Leafs. We are moving to Thompsons (Thompson's?-still trying to figure what is correct...) Station at end of February. We sold our house in Greenbrier in 48 hours. Had charger removed at Greenbrier house by...

Thanks, Bert! Sorry, I flaked on posting an update. Yes, I finally got the leaf back and supposedly, it was the brake actuator (again). I am still trying to figure out how the brake actuator would cause the car to totally shut down on the road, refuse a charge and then totally die and have the...

JP- the roadside assistance was utilized, although I called at 10:30 am and it was after 1pm before he arrived (another day shot to hell, waiting) and he called for directions...but it was free so I guess I should be happy... I just rolled over 10K miles.

In regards to the "visit dealer" message, this is only the second time I have seen that, the first was with the actuator episode. The fact that the Leaf died while it was being driven and was DOA at home with the charger seems to point to a legitimate issue. The "EV System" warning light was...

Yes, you are correct, the brake actuator went out exactly one month to the day after I picked up the Leaf. THAT was fixed in one day, they replaced the actuator and I had it back within 24 hours.

EdmondLeaf: Thanks for the suggestion as the tow guy was clueless. I got the "I don't hear it runnin' " comment after he hooked up the jumper cables.. he jumped it and that got it fired up to at least get it out of the garage and onto the tow truck. I have a "visit dealer" message on dash. It...

Leaf died, waiting for tow truck to take it to dealer. Tuesday, my hubs had the Leaf (of course) at work hooked up to the BLink charger, hit the climate control on button on phone, got in some time later and took off for home. He got about 200 yards and the car died, he was able to restart it...

Aah, the joys of being an "early adopter"???...so sad that the last few pages of this forum are mostly about trying to find out from locals with eyes on the units if any L3 units are working. The cars? No problems, trying to charge them to go anywhere long distance? BIG problems! Even worse...

Hi all, just checking in to say hello. I'm sorry I missed the Earth Day event, I have had two surgeries this year and the second occurred right before that event so I wasn't able to make it. :( Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their Leafs, I'm not, as the hubs is driving it on a daily...

Left the house in Greenbrier with 93 miles on the GOS, went down to Nolensville Pike, south of 440, then to Costco in W. N'ville on Charlotte Pike, then to hubs shop downtown, then up to Rivergate area before returning home. Actual miles:84. Mileage left on GOS:17 came in at an even 5.0...

ALMOST!!! My hubs (Speed Racer) got pulled over for speeding downtown yesterday in the Leaf- 42 in a 35 zone with the 40mph sign in sight. He got off without a ticket somehow..lucky dog. Cop must have either liked the car or the fact that we bothered to get an "HOV" sticker :)

Since we have had a meet-up at Nissan and one at Schneider, how about our next meet-up at one of the locations that have a FUNCTIONING L3? I am curious and would like to see/use one. How many of you have used an L3? I would like to dust off that QC connector and try it. The weather has been...

COSTCO has officially removed ALL existing EVSEs

I find it interesting that at the "drive event" last year at the Nissan Headquarters, they specifically mentioned Costco as one of the companies that were committed to supporting the new EVSE....too bad it has gone the other way. I wonder what happened. I put a card in the suggestion box months...
